Weeping Willows is a Swedish indie rock group that started in 1995. Since that time they have released a dozen albums, all of which successfully cracked the Top 20 in their native Sweden.
Released on Razzia Records in 2014, Christmas Time Has Come is the band’s 8th full length studio album and first with a seasonal twist.
Weeping Willows are led by veteran Swedish singer, composer, songwriter Magnus Carlson who channels the powerful essence of a young Scott Walker at the height of his vocal powers in the late 1960s.
Together with bandmates Ola Nyström (guitar) Anders Hernestam (drums) and Niko Röhlcke (guitar & keyboards) Carlson has magically frozen in time the mighty mechanisms of masterly crafted 60s pop.
