A music auteur in the Art Of The Album, British electronic music pioneer Gary Numan was just 26 years old when he abandoned the security of a major record label to embark on the creation of his own record label, Numa Records.

Available for the first time in years, and just in time for the 40th Anniversary, Numan’s 1984 Berserker album was the debut release for his newly minted label.

Numan’s sixth album as a solo artist (his first two were credited to his band Tubeway Army) Berserker absolutely shines in its newly remastered form.

The benefit of hindsight has given way to a contemporary reevaluation of Numan’s core 80s catalog, finally giving this unique, pioneering artist his due.
