This Montreal based trio manipulate a recording studio in ways Radiohead once used to revel in, they play it like it’s an instrument, a symphony of sound and selection. For over a decade now through two EP’s and three full length albums, guitarist Warren Spicer, bassist Nic Basque and drummer Matthew Woodley have been quietly honing their studio craftsmanship beginning with 2003’s self titled debut recording. Their albums have been honoured by both the Juno awards and the Polaris Music prize organization with Waltzed In From The Rumbling, released by Montreal’s prestigious Secret City Records, sure to continue that tradition.
