On December 11, 1968 The Rolling Stones along with assorted special invited guests convened at the sound stage of Intertel Studios on Wycombe Road, Wembley to perform on a replica of a seedy big top circus tent. What was filmed and recorded that day would not be released to the general public for another 28 years…
One of the day’s special guests included The Dirty Mac, a one off rag tag crew that included Mitch Mitchell of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Eric Clapton of the Cream, Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones and lastly one John Lennon of the British singing group The Beatles.
They covered “Yer Blues”, a song from the new Beatles album.
