Peter Sarstedt was a British singer-songwriter and instrumentalist. He was the brother of singers Eden Kane (born Richard Sarstedt) and Clive Sarstedt who he also recorded and performed with as The Sarstedt Brothers.
With possibly the exception of the Gibb brothers in The Bee Gees, The Sarstedt brothers have the distinction of being the only family where three siblings all attained separate chart success.
Peter Sarstedt issued 15 studio albums in his 50-year-long recording career.
His sophomore album As Though It Were A Movie was released by United Artists Records in 1969, the same year as his debut album.
