“Nobody Told Me” is a song John Lennon wrote for Ringo Starr in 1979 intended for Starr to sing on his upcoming Stop And Smell The Roses album which has contributions from all four Beatles.
The cover version by The Flaming Lips is from the 1995 album Working Class Hero: A Tribute To John Lennon which has been out of print for decades.
The song is currently available on The Flaming Lips compilation album Heady Nuggs 1994-1997
