Flamingo Pier is a self-professed crew of music makers, DJs and artists whose livelihood depends on throwing wildly extravagant dance parties in specialized unique locales. Part brand, part band the New Zealand music collective comprised of DJs Luke Walker, Dominic Jones and Bradley Craig first began organizing floating pontoon canal boat parties in Hackney Wick, East London in the summer of 2014.
Their latest venture, the completely sold out one day Flamingo Pier Festival, held February 9, 2019 at the Rangihoua olive grove on Waiheke Island off the shores of Auckland, New Zealand, was preceded the day before by the release of their record label debut, the 4 track self-titled Flamingo Pier vinyl EP from Soundway Records with 5-track digital version of the EP also available featuring a remix of the Find Your Way track by London based afro-cosmic futurist duo Earthboogie.
When not busy organizing parties, coordinating events and promoting concerts these three adept EDM music makers trade business caps for boogie pants with ease. The Flamingo Pier EP succeeds on all levels inducing endless bouts of hip shaking gyrating dance floor ecstasy throughout.
