Robyn Hitchcock formed The Soft Boys in Cambridge, England in 1976.
Disbanding the group in 1981 after the release of just one E.P. and two albums, “A Can Of Bees” and the seminal “Underwater Moonlight”, Hitchcock has gone on to release over 40 albums of his own unique blend of surrealistic visionary material, including his most recent “The Man Upstairs”, released August 26, 2014.
Nine years after the original release of John Lennon’s “Cold Turkey” The Soft Boys recorded the song and included it on their 1979 debut album “A Can Of Bees”.
